Urgent Requirement for Crewing Head
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a highly experienced Crewing Head to lead and manage our crew management operations. The ideal candidate will be a Master Mariner with extensive sailing experience and a proven track record in shore-based crewing operations. The candidate must have a minimum of 5–10 years of experience in Fleet Personnel Department (FPD), handling end-to-end crew management functions.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee all crewing activities, ensuring compliance with company policies, industry standards, and international regulations.

Manage recruitment, selection, and deployment of officers and crew for the company’s fleet.

Ensure timely crew changes and effective manpower planning.

Oversee crew training, certification, and appraisal processes.

Maintain strong relationships with manning agents, training institutions, and maritime authorities.

Monitor crew performance, welfare, and retention strategies.

Ensure compliance with STCW, MLC, and flag state requirements.

Prepare and manage crewing budgets, reports, and KPIs for senior management.
