We are looking for an experienced Training Manager (Deck Officers) to lead and oversee maritime training programs in Ethiopia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in maritime education, with a strong background in developing and delivering training for deck officers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, plan, and manage training activities for Deck Officers in compliance with STCW and international maritime standards.

• Design, develop, and implement training modules, course materials, and assessment tools.

• Supervise and mentor training staff, ensuring high-quality instruction and performance.

• Ensure training facilities, simulators, and teaching aids are maintained and updated.

• Monitor trainees’ progress, conduct evaluations, and provide feedback for improvement.

• Liaise with maritime authorities, accreditation bodies, and industry stakeholders to ensure compliance and quality standards.

• Prepare and present training reports to senior management.

Requirements:

• Minimum 7–9 years of experience in maritime training, with at least 2 years as Chief Marine Instructor.

• Valid Master Mariner CoC with relevant sailing and instructional experience.

• Strong knowledge of STCW, IMO regulations, and modern training methodologies.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and adapt to overseas posting.
