Job Title: Technical Superintendent (Dual Fuel Engine)
Location: Chennai
Experience Required: 1–3 years as Chief Engineer with Dual Fuel Engine background

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day technical operations of assigned vessels, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

• Plan and coordinate vessel maintenance, repairs, and dry-docking schedules, including budgeting and cost control.

• Monitor vessel performance, machinery health, and fuel efficiency, particularly for Dual Fuel Engine systems.

• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to shipboard engineers.

• Ensure compliance with ISM Code, MARPOL, SOLAS, and other statutory regulations.

• Liaise with classification societies, flag states, vendors, and service providers.

• Prepare and submit technical reports, budgets, and maintenance records.

• Support implementation of safety and environmental protection measures on board.

Qualifications & Skills:

• COC Class 1 (Motor) – Chief Engineer.

• Minimum 1–3 years sailing experience as Chief Engineer with proven Dual Fuel Engine experience.

• Strong knowledge of LNG/LPG operations, gas fuel systems, and marine engineering practices.

• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple vessels effectively.
