Job Title: Training Superintendent (Chemical Tanker)
Location: Mumbai
Experience Required: 1–3 years as Master Mariner with Chemical Tanker background

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and oversee training programs for shipboard officers and crew, focusing on Chemical Tanker operations and safety.

• Conduct onboard and shore-based training sessions, simulator training, and competency assessments.

• Ensure crew members are familiar with company safety management systems (SMS), operational procedures, and emergency drills.

• Monitor and evaluate crew performance, providing feedback and recommending further training where required.

• Stay updated on the latest regulatory requirements (ISM, ISPS, MARPOL, SOLAS, STCW) and incorporate them into training content.

• Coordinate with crewing, marine, and technical departments to address skill gaps.

• Prepare training materials, manuals, and competency matrices.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Master Mariner (FG) COC with minimum 1–3 years of command experience on Chemical Tankers.

• Strong understanding of cargo handling, tank cleaning, safety, and pollution prevention procedures.

• Knowledge of international maritime regulations and training methodologies.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.

• Proficient in MS Office and training software/tools.
