Job Title: Technical Superintendent (Offshore Vessels)
Location: Mumbai
Experience Required: Minimum 1–2 years as Technical Superintendent with Offshore vessel experience
Key Responsibilities:
Manage technical operations for assigned offshore vessels (AHTS, PSV, DP vessels, etc.) ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient performance.
Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs, and dry-docking activities within budget.
Monitor vessel machinery performance, fuel consumption, and operational parameters.
Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to shipboard engineers.
Ensure compliance with ISM Code, ISPS Code, SOLAS, MARPOL, Class, and Flag State requirements.
Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and classification societies for inspections and certifications.
Prepare technical reports, budget forecasts, and maintenance documentation.
Liaise with crewing department to ensure competent technical staff onboard.
Qualifications & Skills:
COC Class 1 (Motor) – Chief Engineer (preferred) or relevant marine engineering qualification.
Minimum 1–2 years of shore-based experience as Technical Superintendent with Offshore vessel background.
Strong understanding of offshore vessel operations, DP systems, and maintenance practices.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple vessels.
