Role Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Pre Fixture (Assistant Manager / Manager) to join our Chartering team. The candidate will be responsible for handling pre-fixture activities, preparing voyage estimations, negotiating terms, and coordinating with brokers, ship owners, and clients to support successful chartering operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle pre-fixture chartering activities for Dry Bulk cargoes.

• Prepare and evaluate voyage estimates, freight calculations, and market assessments.

• Source and analyze vessel and cargo opportunities through direct contacts and brokers.

• Support charter party negotiations in close coordination with the Chartering Manager.

• Maintain updated knowledge of Dry Bulk freight markets and trade patterns.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with ship owners, operators, and clients.

• Ensure smooth transition of fixtures to the post-fixture/operations team.

Key Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in Pre-Fixture activities within the Dry Bulk market.

• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of freight economics.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.

• Good network of brokers, owners, and charterers in the Dry Bulk market.

• Proficiency in MS Office and chartering platforms/tools.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic shipping environment.
