Experience Required:
1–2 years as Technical Superintendent.
Minimum 1–2 years sailing experience as Chief Engineer on Tankers (Product / Chemical / Crude preferred).
Qualification:
Class I COC (Chief Engineer Motor) – Mandatory.
Strong tanker background with knowledge of international regulations, class & flag requirements.
Oversee day-to-day technical operations of assigned tanker vessels.
Monitor vessel performance, maintenance, and machinery condition.
Plan and manage dry-docking, repairs, and periodic surveys.
Ensure compliance with ISM, ISPS, MARPOL, SOLAS, and all statutory requirements.
Coordinate with ship staff, vendors, and service providers for smooth vessel operations.
Monitor budgets and control operating costs.
Investigate and report technical incidents and propose corrective measures.
Conduct vessel visits and inspections as required.
Support crew with technical guidance and training.
Strong technical knowledge of tanker machinery and operations.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Problem-solving ability under pressure.
Familiarity with PMS (Planned Maintenance Systems) and budget control.
